Barsati Sethi was left in no man's land by his defense there! Isayu Tiwari received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 7th minute. Gunadhara Mallik tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Amad Tipnis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Barsati Sethi having to interfere. When St Ives Citzdcy's Isayu Tiwari in the 16th minute got a chance for a shot 16th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Woolwich Rovers FC's goalie prevented a goal. Ksambhuj Malhotra struck a weak shot in the 17th minute. Gunadhara Mallik didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for St Ives Citzdcy. With his leg Gunadhara Mallik managed to avoid a goal in the 19thth minute, when St Ives Citzdcy's Isayu Tiwari fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. After having played for 21 minutes, Amad Tipnis managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Woolwich Rovers FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Amad Tipnis was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Ksambhuj Malhotra had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 26th minute, Isayu Tiwari managed to get in a good position for a shot. St Ives Citzdcy's supporters rose to their feet, but Isayu Tiwari was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gunadhara Mallik breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Ratinder Chandha recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 28th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ksambhuj Malhotra could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 34th minute of the match, but Gunadhara Mallik made a huge save. Isayu Tiwari fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gunadhara Mallik having to interfere. Ratinder Chandha received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Gunadhara Mallik tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Isayu Tiwari came up free with the goalie in the 42nd minute, the St Ives Citzdcy fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Isayu Tiwari couldn't finish the play. Ksambhuj Malhotra sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In a very dangerous position, a player in Woolwich Rovers FC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 47th minute. Penalty! All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Shekar Denzongpa was the one to do the kick off. If Ksambhuj Malhotra had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 61st minute, Isayu Tiwari left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The St Ives Citzdcy fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-1. 64 minutes into the match, Woolwich Rovers FC's goal looked a bit too open when Adri Srivastava came free, but Gunadhara Mallik reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 67 minutes into the match, St Ives Citzdcy's goalkeeper Barsati Sethi had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Shekar Denzongpa. A collision led to Woolwich Rovers FC getting a freekick after 68 minutes play. Shekar Denzongpa hit a great ball. If Ksambhuj Malhotra had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gunadhara Mallik showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hayavahana Kamle in the 71st minute of the match. Woolwich Rovers FC's Gunadhara Mallik played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Isayu Tiwari in the 83rd minute of play. In the 88th minute, Hayavahana Kamle got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 90th minute, Ratinder Chandha got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Ksambhuj Malhotra received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute.
