The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. If Karamdeep Bhasin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 3rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 4th match minute, Barnetby Le Wold FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kulluka Sheikh to maneuver through the defense. Kavi Modi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 7th minute. Abhimani Bhaura tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Abhimoda Mohan was out of position in the 10 minute of play, and Krakaca Cheema capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Krakaca Cheema really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Karamdeep Bhasin in the 13th minute of play forced Barnetby Le Wold FC's goalkeeper Abhimani Bhaura to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 18 minutes into the match, Howden AFC India's goal looked a bit too open when Citrasva Maroke came free, but Abhimoda Mohan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Abhimoda Mohan was a little too slow when Baljinder Chawla got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 19th minute. The score was now 2-0. Karamdeep Bhasin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 23 played minutes Barnetby Le Wold FC got a freekick which was hit by Kulluka Sheikh. A collision led to Howden AFC India getting a freekick after 25 minutes play. Anakranta Aujla hit a great ball. In the 26th minute, Amitkumar Chaudhari made a precise shot to the right of Abhimoda Mohan. Howden AFC India's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-0. The audience thought a goal was coming when Amitkumar Chaudhari got free with Abhimoda Mohan in the 30th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Abhimoda Mohan made a fantastic save in the 33rd minute, when Amitkumar Chaudhari sent off a good shot on target. In the 34th minute, Ayutajit Khalsa made a precise shot to the right of Abhimani Bhaura. Barnetby Le Wold FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-1. After 40 minutes of play, Howden AFC India's Kalpesh Warwaha made it 3-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Abhimani Bhaura was left in no man's land by his defense there! A collision led to Barnetby Le Wold FC getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. Amitkumar Chaudhari hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Citrasva Maroke in the 48th minute of play forced Howden AFC India's goalkeeper Abhimoda Mohan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-2 at half-time.

Ayutajit Khalsa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Abhimani Bhaura having to interfere. Abhimoda Mohan came out of the goal in the 54th minute to try and stop a shot by Barnetby Le Wold FC's Krakaca Cheema. But to his dismay, Krakaca Cheema quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-2. If Ayutajit Khalsa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ayutajit Khalsa struck a weak shot in the 62nd minute. Abhimani Bhaura didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Howden AFC India. Baljinder Chawla hit a great freekick 67 minutes into the match. 70 minutes into the game, Krakaca Cheema cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 5-3. Abhimoda Mohan was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Abhimoda Mohan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Citrasva Maroke, who was totally free with the ball in the 73rd minute. When Harjodh Bisla fell near the penalty area in the 77th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Barnetby Le Wold FC's protests and gave Harjodh Bisla a yellow card for diving instead. After 77 played minutes Barnetby Le Wold FC got a freekick which was hit by Harjodh Bisla. In the 84th minute Kalpesh Warwaha shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Abhimani Bhaura saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Abhimoda Mohan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Amitkumar Chaudhari, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Howden AFC India's Abhimoda Mohan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Krakaca Cheema in the 91st minute of play. The home crowd let out a huge roar when the referee blew for the end of the game. Barnetby Le Wold FC were victorious despite being under pressure from Howden AFC India for much of the match.
