Skipton's Amit Johal played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Niranjan Malhan in the 15th minute of play. In the 16th minute Devapalita Malhotra shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dyunisa Liansailova saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Berkhamstsdfed's Dyunisa Liansailova proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 18th minute of the match, managed to save Berkhamstsdfed from getting a goal against them. Alopa Sidhu hit a great freekick 18 minutes into the match. Dyunisa Liansailova showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gunasraja Dale, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. In the 35thth minute of the game Niranjan Malhan who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Skipton's Amit Johal was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Amit Johal took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Niranjan Malhan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Niranjan Malhan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Amit Johal having to interfere. After 40 played minutes Skipton got a freekick which was hit by Aryaki Moktan. When Niranjan Malhan came up free with the goalie in the 45th minute, the Berkhamstsdfed fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Niranjan Malhan couldn't finish the play. 47 minutes into the game, Berkhamstsdfed's Jagdeep Dambria nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Amit Johal made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The wind increased when Niranjan Malhan made the kick off in the second half. The supporters of Skipton booed when Berkhamstsdfed was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 52 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sarang Deol didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 55th minute, Gunasraja Dale made a precise shot to the right of Dyunisa Liansailova. Berkhamstsdfed's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2. 59 minutes into the match, Berkhamstsdfed's goal looked a bit too open when Devapalita Malhotra came free, but Dyunisa Liansailova reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Berkhamstsdfed's Dyunisa Liansailova played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ditaujas Sekhon in the 60th minute of play. Berkhamstsdfed's Asavijaya Shergill got a good chance for a goal in the 63rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Sarang Deol had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 67 minutes, Jagdeep Dambria managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Berkhamstsdfed's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jagdeep Dambria was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Jagdeep Dambria kicked well hit freekick during the 76th minute of the match. After having played for 78 minutes, Jagdeep Dambria managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Berkhamstsdfed's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jagdeep Dambria was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Gunasraja Dale charged in rather forcefully in the 87th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Gunasraja Dale the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Skipton's Gunasraja Dale got a free kick in the 87th minute. Berkhamstsdfed's Jagdeep Dambria got a good chance for a goal in the 90th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Gunasraja Dale was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 91 minutes had been played. A collision led to Skipton getting a freekick after 92 minutes play. Gunasraja Dale hit a great ball. Amit Johal was out of position in the 96 minute of play, and Niranjan Malhan capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Niranjan Malhan really showed his touch with that goal: 1-4.
