Abhimani Bhaura made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Manjit Sohota in the 7th minute of play. In the 9th minute, Baljinder Chawla hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Manjit Sohota blasted a shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Abhimani Bhaura having to make a save. Ashwin Subba recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 10th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a rather tough play, Barnetby Le Wold FC's Krakaca Cheema got a free kick in the 16th minute. Amitkumar Chaudhari could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 18th minute of the match, but Shekhar Sabnis made a huge save. With a little luck, Hurst Green's Shekhar Sabnis got control of the ball when Amitkumar Chaudhari tried to sneak it across the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Baljinder Chawla got free with Shekhar Sabnis in the 22nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Barnetby Le Wold FC's Abhimani Bhaura played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ashwin Subba in the 25th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ashwin Subba in the 27th minute of play forced Barnetby Le Wold FC's goalkeeper Abhimani Bhaura to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 28 minutes Barnetby Le Wold FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Dharmamandhu Sandhar who took care of the corner kick. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Manjit Sohota in the 37th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Abhimani Bhaura saved Barnetby Le Wold FC from getting behind. Abhinavan Verma took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 40th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Shekhar Sabnis. Hurst Green's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 43rd minute, Kirin Rai hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in Barnetby Le Wold FC's zone, Dharmamandhu Sandhar stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Abhimani Bhaura came out of the goal and Dharmamandhu Sandhar tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Ashwin Subba fell near the penalty area in the 46th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Hurst Green's protests and gave Ashwin Subba a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Hurst Green's Ashwin Subba got a free kick in the 46th minute. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Manjit Sohota made a kick off. In the 53rd minute of the match Abhinavan Verma sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Shekhar Sabnis skillfully saved the ball. In the 55th minute, Ashwin Subba got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 60th minute of the match Abhinavan Verma shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Shekhar Sabnis showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. The supporters of Hurst Green booed when Barnetby Le Wold FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 66 match minutes in a wonderful position. Baljinder Chawla didn't get a good kick on the ball. 70 minutes into the game, Ratilal Sabdhu was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Hurst Green's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Barnetby Le Wold FC the free kick. Ratilal Sabdhu hit a great freekick 70 minutes into the match. Ashwin Subba blasted a shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Abhimani Bhaura having to make a save. Manjit Sohota recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 77th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With his leg Abhimani Bhaura managed to avoid a goal in the 84thth minute, when Hurst Green's Manjit Sohota fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. An unexpected shot in the 85th minute by Ashwin Subba got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Ashwin Subba received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Abhimani Bhaura tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 88th minute Manjit Sohota shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Abhimani Bhaura saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Ashwin Subba had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Hurst Green were clearly unhappy with the draw, as they felt they had done enough to earn themselves a victory.
