Evergreen United's Amitaya Chahal played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Asvattha Ngullie in the 17th minute of play. Sarang Deol sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jagdeep Dambria struck a weak shot in the 20th minute. Amitaya Chahal didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Berkhamstsdfed. Asvattha Ngullie charged in rather forcefully in the 22nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Asvattha Ngullie the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Alopa Sidhu could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 25th minute of the match, but Amitaya Chahal made a huge save. Jagdeep Dambria received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Amitaya Chahal tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ketutra Gandhi to make the kick off. When Ketutra Gandhi came up free with the goalie in the 79th minute, the Evergreen United fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ketutra Gandhi couldn't finish the play. In the 84thth minute of the game Niranjan Malhan who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Evergreen United's Amitaya Chahal was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 86th minute, Jagdeep Dambria ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Amitaya Chahal was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-1. Amitaya Chahal stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Niranjan Malhan's shot from short distance in the 95th minute. Jivaja Chawla hit a great freekick 95 minutes into the match. Berkhamstsdfed walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
