Spectators: 7500 (Terracing: 5875, Seating: 1575, VIP seats: 50) Agnidhra Brar recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 2nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Coksa Johar in the 7th minute of play forced Howden AFC India's goalkeeper Abhimoda Mohan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Abhimoda Mohan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ditaujas Sekhon, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 9th minute, Ayutajit Khalsa got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Abhimoda Mohan didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Devapalita Malhotra went, in the 11th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. With a little luck, Skipton's Amit Johal got control of the ball when Karamdeep Bhasin tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 17th minute, Karamdeep Bhasin got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Ayutajit Khalsa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Amit Johal having to interfere. When Amaropama Bhaura came up free with the goalie in the 27th minute, the Howden AFC India fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Amaropama Bhaura couldn't finish the play. In the 28th minute, Kalpesh Warwaha fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. 32 minutes into the match, Devapalita Malhotra had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Abhimoda Mohan. Howden AFC India's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Devapalita Malhotra was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-3. Devapalita Malhotra's late challenge caught a Howden AFC India's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Devapalita Malhotra helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Skipton getting a freekick after 36 minutes play. Devapalita Malhotra hit a great ball. Amit Johal made a fantastic save in the 39th minute, when Ayutajit Khalsa sent off a good shot on target. In the 41st minute the ball was on its way in behind Skipton's goalkeeper Amit Johal, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Ayutajit Khalsa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 48th minute, Howden AFC India's Kalpesh Warwaha ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Amit Johal. Amit Johal yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-3. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 2-3 lead.

The wind increased when Devapalita Malhotra made the kick off in the second half. Amaropama Bhaura hit a great freekick 55 minutes into the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Akrsnakarman Banerjee during the 61st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Abhimoda Mohan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Devapalita Malhotra, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Manik Tamang in the 66th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Amit Johal prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The supporters of Howden AFC India booed when Skipton was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 67 match minutes in a wonderful position. Agnidhra Brar didn't get a good kick on the ball. Manik Tamang sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After 72 minutes, Agnidhra Brar mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Skipton and the Howden AFC India players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 72 played minutes Skipton got a freekick which was hit by Agnidhra Brar. 74 minutes into the match, Coksa Johar notched a goal, 2-4, to the right of Howden AFC India's Abhimoda Mohan. Abhimoda Mohan was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 79th minute, Manik Tamang left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Howden AFC India fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-4. Amit Johal took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Amaropama Bhaura, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 87th match minute, Howden AFC India was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kavi Modi to maneuver through the defense. Gyaneshwar Attariwala struck a weak shot in the 89th minute. Abhimoda Mohan didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Skipton. In the 91st minute Devapalita Malhotra shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Abhimoda Mohan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Abhimoda Mohan made an important save on a dangerous shot by Coksa Johar in the 93rd minute. In the 97th minute, Coksa Johar had to leave the field with a concussion. The Howden AFC India manager could be seen shouting at his players as they walked down the tunnel after the match. He was clearly angry that they had squandered their superior possession, allowing Skipton to win.
