Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Amolaka Swamy took the kick off in the first half of the match. Bhurida Gurai took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Camikara Rama, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Bhurida Gurai made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Shyam Nahal in the 6th minute of play. Bhurida Gurai showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Amolaka Swamy in the 10th minute of the match. After having played for 13 minutes, Dharmaghosa Bedi managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Whitwell Unitasded's supporters crossed their fingers, but Dharmaghosa Bedi was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 14th minute Shyam Nahal shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bhurida Gurai saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 17th minute, Amarajita Khatter managed to get in a good position for a shot. Whitwell Unitasded's supporters rose to their feet, but Amarajita Khatter was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Isat Saxena breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Whitwell Unitasded's Bhurida Gurai played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Shyam Nahal in the 20th minute of play. Bhurida Gurai made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Shyam Nahal in the 22nd minute of play. The supporters of Preston booed when Whitwell Unitasded was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gurmail Wahlia didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, Whitwell Unitasded's Dharmaghosa Bedi got a free kick in the 25th minute. Camikara Rama scored 0-1 in the 29th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Bhurida Gurai, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Dharmaghosa Bedi during the 31st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 32nd minute, Camikara Rama made a precise shot to the right of Bhurida Gurai. Whitwell Unitasded's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. 36 minutes into the game, Preston's Amolaka Swamy nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Bhurida Gurai made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. Bhurida Gurai made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Amolaka Swamy in the 39th minute of play. Preston's Isat Saxena played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dharmaghosa Bedi in the 42nd minute of play. In the 43rd minute Shyam Nahal shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bhurida Gurai saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Whitwell Unitasded booed when Preston was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 44 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jadhav Arakoni didn't get a good kick on the ball. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-4.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Dharmaghosa Bedi to make the kick off. Kusumojvala Biswas hit a great freekick 54 minutes into the match. In the 57th minute, Gurmail Wahlia hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 58 played minutes, Preston's Cakaraka Boparai shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Bhurida Gurai came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Preston reached it. In the 59th minute, Shyam Nahal left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Preston fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-5. Bhurida Gurai showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Camikara Rama in the 63rd minute of the match. Bhurida Gurai made a fantastic save in the 71st minute, when Amolaka Swamy sent off a good shot on target. In the 72nd minute Shyam Nahal shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bhurida Gurai saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 75 played minutes Whitwell Unitasded got a freekick which was hit by Ksaman Lapang. Camikara Rama took the ball and in the 76 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Bhurida Gurai. Bhurida Gurai dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-7. With a little luck, Whitwell Unitasded's Bhurida Gurai got control of the ball when Shyam Nahal tried to sneak it across the goal line. 0-8 became the score in the 82nd minute when Camikara Rama elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Amarajita Khatter sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 86 played minutes Preston got a freekick which was hit by Kushwah Paranjpe. Cakaraka Boparai hit a great freekick 88 minutes into the match. Isat Saxena made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Amarajita Khatter in the 91st minute of play. Isat Saxena didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Kusumojvala Biswas went, in the 95th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-8 was the resulting score. Preston's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
