Bhurida Gurai didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Aryaman Khanna went, in the 10th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. 14 minutes into the match, Southend's goalkeeper Ardra Reel had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Amarajita Khatter. In the 18th minute, Dharmaghosa Bedi left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Whitwell Unitasded fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. In the 21st match minute, Whitwell Unitasded was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Amarajita Khatter to maneuver through the defense. Ardra Reel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dharmaghosa Bedi in the 24th minute of the match. In the 28th minute, one of Whitwell Unitasded:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Whitwell Unitasded. Whitwell Unitasded:s Bhurida Gurai showed great skill when he stopped Hita Jha:s penalty. In the 31st minute, Hita Jha ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Bhurida Gurai was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-3. 37 minutes into the match, Bhrajathu Kelkar notched a goal, 1-4, to the right of Whitwell Unitasded's Bhurida Gurai. Bhurida Gurai was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. If Kusumojvala Biswas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Kusumojvala Biswas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ardra Reel having to interfere. When Kshama Malhotra came up free with the goalie in the 45th minute, the Whitwell Unitasded fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Kshama Malhotra couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kusumojvala Biswas in the 48th minute of play forced Southend's goalkeeper Ardra Reel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.

Dharmaghosa Bedi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Southend played a much better game than Whitwell Unitasded and deserved their victory. The Whitwell Unitasded players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
