Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Aryaman Khanna started the match with the kick off. If Kanu Gurai had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 4th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The crowd rose to their feet as Bhrajathu Kelkar kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Amrik Dambria. That made the score 1-0 in the 5 minute of play. If Bhrajathu Kelkar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience was convinced that Abhimani Khongstid's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ardra Reel was relentless in the 11th minute of the game. An unexpectedly hard shot by Abhimani Khongstid in the 16th minute of play forced Southend's goalkeeper Ardra Reel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ardra Reel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arin Chawla in the 18th minute of play. Through an outstanding action, after 19 minutes, Amrik Dambria successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aryaman Khanna in the 22nd minute of play forced Hillhead's goalkeeper Amrik Dambria to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Hillhead's Abhimani Khongstid in the 25th minute got a chance for a shot 25th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Southend's goalie prevented a goal. Abhiraksa Gowda charged in rather forcefully in the 26th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Abhiraksa Gowda the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Hillhead getting a freekick after 26 minutes play. Abhiraksa Gowda hit a great ball. In the 27th minute, Bhrajathu Kelkar left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Southend fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. Bhrajathu Kelkar fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Amrik Dambria having to interfere. Hillhead's Amrik Dambria played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kanu Gurai in the 31st minute of play. Ardra Reel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Arin Chawla, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Amrik Dambria showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aryaman Khanna in the 35th minute of the match. Hillhead's Amrik Dambria proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 36th minute of the match, managed to save Hillhead from getting a goal against them. 38 minutes into the match, Southend's goal looked a bit too open when Arin Chawla came free, but Ardra Reel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 41st play minutes Aryaman Khanna shot 3-0, a short shot which went by Amrik Dambria and just under the crossbar into goal. Ardra Reel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Arin Chawla in the 47th minute of the match. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Abhimani Khongstid made a kick off. After some careless play in the Hillhead defense, Kanu Gurai kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Amrik Dambria. The Hillhead fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Amrik Dambria should have stopped the shot. The supporters of Southend booed when Hillhead was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 55 match minutes in a wonderful position. Karunamoorthy Chana didn't get a good kick on the ball. 58 minutes into the match, Aryaman Khanna notched a goal, 5-0, to the right of Hillhead's Amrik Dambria. Amrik Dambria was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After some fancy dribbling in the 61st minute, Abhimani Khongstid managed to get in a good position for a shot. Hillhead's supporters rose to their feet, but Abhimani Khongstid was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ardra Reel breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Amrik Dambria came out of the goal in the 69th minute to try and stop a shot by Southend's Bhrajathu Kelkar. But to his dismay, Bhrajathu Kelkar quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 6-0. After a rather tough play, Hillhead's Ajira Sandhar got a free kick in the 73rd minute. 73 minutes into the game, Aryaman Khanna cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 7-0. Amrik Dambria was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 78th minute Arin Chawla shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ardra Reel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 80 minutes into the match, Southend's goalkeeper Ardra Reel had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Abhimani Khongstid. Aryaman Khanna kicked well hit freekick during the 89th minute of the match. Hillhead's Abhiraksa Gowda got his second yellow card of the match in the 91st minute. The referee ordered Abhiraksa Gowda off the ground. Abhiraksa Gowda hit a great freekick 92 minutes into the match. The referee felt a red card was in order, 95 minutes into the game, when Ajira Sandhar put in a rough tackle.
