Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Abhyudaya Rattu started the match with the kick off. Abhyudaya Rattu might have been able to make a better finish in the 3rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ardra Reel. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Abhyudaya Rattu ran back to his position shaking his head. 3 minutes into the match, Tollygunge Agragami's Abhyudaya Rattu sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ardra Reel narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 5th minute of the match Tollygunge Agragami got a corner. Southend's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Indrarajan Kapoor ran over to the corner to take the kick. Abhyudaya Rattu struck a weak shot in the 12th minute. Ardra Reel didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Tollygunge Agragami. In the 14th minute, Jagdish Kamle hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 16th minute, Abhyudaya Rattu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Southend's Bhrajathu Kelkar got a good chance for a goal in the 21st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 22 played minutes Tollygunge Agragami got a freekick which was hit by Indrarajan Kapoor. 24 minutes into the match, Southend's goal looked a bit too open when Abhyudaya Rattu came free, but Ardra Reel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ardra Reel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Abhyudaya Rattu, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. After 27 played minutes Tollygunge Agragami got a freekick which was hit by Dayarama Nair. 30 minutes into the match, Abhyudaya Rattu had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ardra Reel. Southend's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Abhyudaya Rattu was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. A collision led to Southend getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. Hita Jha hit a great ball. Api Deshmukh hit a great freekick 35 minutes into the match. In the 36th minute Indrarajan Kapoor shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ardra Reel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ardra Reel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jagdish Kamle in the 39th minute of the match. 43 minutes into the game, Advaya Samra was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Tollygunge Agragami's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Southend the free kick. Advaya Samra hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match. Southend's Hita Jha shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 44th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Christian Orlan but with some difficulty. After the first half Tollygunge Agragami were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Aryaman Khanna stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Abhyudaya Rattu in the 52nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ardra Reel prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Christian Orlan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aryaman Khanna in the 56th minute of the match. Tollygunge Agragami's Gunidatta Sran was substituted for Indrarajan Kapoor. Jagdish Kamle took the ball and in the 63 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ardra Reel. Ardra Reel dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-4. Tollygunge Agragami's Gunidatta Sran got a good chance for a goal in the 69th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Abhyudaya Rattu took the ball and in the 79 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ardra Reel. Ardra Reel dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-6. Southend's defense didn't have a chance, in the 83rd minute, when Abhyudaya Rattu scored to the left of an out of position Ardra Reel, making the score, 0-7. 86 minutes into the match, Tollygunge Agragami's Abhyudaya Rattu sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ardra Reel narrowly saved just below the crossbar. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ardra Reel prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Tollygunge Agragami played a much better game than Southend and deserved their victory. The Southend players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
