Gurmail Wahlia kicked well hit freekick during the 2nd minute of the match. After 3 played minutes, Mangotsfield's Anudara Bhutia shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Bhurida Gurai came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Mangotsfield reached it. 5 minutes into the match, Whitwell Unitasded's goal looked a bit too open when Karajala Takkar came free, but Bhurida Gurai reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gurmail Wahlia charged in rather forcefully in the 5th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Gurmail Wahlia the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Karajala Takkar in the 9th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Bhurida Gurai saved Whitwell Unitasded from getting behind. Whitwell Unitasded's Bhurida Gurai played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Badaridasa Bhuppal in the 10th minute of play. In the 13th minute of the match Mangotsfield got a corner. Whitwell Unitasded's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Anudara Bhutia ran over to the corner to take the kick. With a little luck, Mangotsfield's Jasavira Dhotre got control of the ball when Dharmaghosa Bedi tried to sneak it across the goal line. Harbhajan Baweja charged in rather forcefully in the 16th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Harbhajan Baweja the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 16th match minute, Mangotsfield was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Harbhajan Baweja to maneuver through the defense. In the 17th minute, Gurmail Wahlia got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The crowd rose to their feet as Gurmail Wahlia kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Jasavira Dhotre. That made the score 1-0 in the 22 minute of play. If Amarajita Khatter had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Dharmaghosa Bedi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jasavira Dhotre having to interfere. In the 37thth minute of the game Dharmaghosa Bedi who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Mangotsfield's Jasavira Dhotre was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Badaridasa Bhuppal during the 43rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. 42 minutes into the game, one of Mangotsfield:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. The referee gave Whitwell Unitasded a penalty, 43 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Dharmaghosa Bedi, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Mangotsfield's Jasavira Dhotre. 2-0. Amarajita Khatter's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jasavira Dhotre read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 46th minute of play. Dharmaghosa Bedi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jasavira Dhotre having to interfere. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

The wind increased when Karajala Takkar made the kick off in the second half. Bhurida Gurai took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Karajala Takkar, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Whitwell Unitasded's Dharmaghosa Bedi in the 58th minute got a chance for a shot 58th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. In the 68th minute, Kusumojvala Biswas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bisambharnatha Denhoy in the 71st minute of play forced Whitwell Unitasded's goalkeeper Bhurida Gurai to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Amarajita Khatter received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 75th minute. Jasavira Dhotre tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Kusumojvala Biswas might have been able to make a better finish in the 77th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jasavira Dhotre. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Kusumojvala Biswas ran back to his position shaking his head. Bhurida Gurai stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Bisambharnatha Denhoy's shot from short distance in the 79th minute. Mangotsfield's Badaridasa Bhuppal got his second yellow card of the match in the 82nd minute. The referee ordered Badaridasa Bhuppal off the ground. A collision led to Mangotsfield getting a freekick after 82 minutes play. Badaridasa Bhuppal hit a great ball. Bhurida Gurai made a fantastic save in the 85th minute, when Rajendran Grewal sent off a good shot on target. 86 minutes into the match, Mangotsfield's goal looked a bit too open when Gurmail Wahlia came free, but Jasavira Dhotre reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Whitwell Unitasded's zone, Bisambharnatha Denhoy stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Bhurida Gurai came out of the goal and Bisambharnatha Denhoy tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Whitwell Unitasded were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Mangotsfield for a fine match.
