A collision led to Preston getting a freekick after 14 minutes play. Ranjith Dambria hit a great ball. After 17 played minutes Camikara Rama rounded Hillhead's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 2-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Arin Chawla in the 22nd minute of play forced Preston's goalkeeper Isat Saxena to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Amrik Dambria showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Shyam Nahal in the 25th minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Abhimani Khongstid's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Isat Saxena was relentless in the 27th minute of the game. If Camikara Rama had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ranjith Dambria was the one to do the kick off. After 55 minutes of play, Preston's Ranjith Dambria made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Amrik Dambria was left in no man's land by his defense there! The crowd rose to their feet as Hillhead's Arin Chawla slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Isat Saxena. That made the score 3-2 after 64 minutes of play. Abhimani Khongstid received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 70th minute. Isat Saxena tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Abhimani Khongstid got free with Isat Saxena in the 74th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Isat Saxena made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arin Chawla in the 78th minute of play. 81 minutes into the match, Hillhead's goal looked a bit too open when Camikara Rama came free, but Amrik Dambria reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In a very dangerous position, a player in Hillhead fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 82nd minute. Penalty! After a rather tough play, Preston's Camikara Rama got a free kick in the 87th minute. In the 91st minute Arin Chawla shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Isat Saxena saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 95 minutes into the match, Hillhead's goal looked a bit too open when Ranjith Dambria came free, but Amrik Dambria reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Preston had won after a very even match.
