The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Cittin Boparai showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Karajala Takkar, who was totally free with the ball in the 10th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Kavana Powar in the 21st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jasavira Dhotre prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Jasavira Dhotre stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ratilal Shah's shot from short distance in the 22nd minute. Bhuvnesh Bhatia kicked well hit freekick during the 24th minute of the match. Cittin Boparai showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Karajala Takkar in the 28th minute of the match. Antideva Chattophadhyay charged in rather forcefully in the 30th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Antideva Chattophadhyay the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Antideva Chattophadhyay kicked well hit freekick during the 30th minute of the match. In the 31st minute the ball was on its way in behind ATK Mohůn Bagæn FC's goalkeeper Cittin Boparai, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Karajala Takkar blasted a shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Cittin Boparai having to make a save. Harbhajan Baweja might have been able to make a better finish in the 34th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Cittin Boparai. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. In the 36th minute of the match, Karajala Takkar tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Cittin Boparai saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. 39 minutes into the match, ATK Mohůn Bagæn FC's goalkeeper Cittin Boparai had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Rajendran Grewal. Jasavira Dhotre showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kavana Powar in the 59th minute of the match. Bhadranga Mundra received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 67th minute. Jasavira Dhotre tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 69th minute Karajala Takkar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cittin Boparai saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 84th match minute, ATK Mohůn Bagæn FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ratilal Shah to maneuver through the defense. 86 minutes into the match, ATK Mohůn Bagæn FC's goal looked a bit too open when Karajala Takkar came free, but Cittin Boparai reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Cittin Boparai didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Karajala Takkar went, in the 89th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Mangotsfield's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
