The supporters of Newport Unweited booed when Oswesasdtry AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kshama Khangura didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 35th minute the ball was on its way in behind Oswesasdtry AFC's goalkeeper Ravishankar Gupta, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Oswesasdtry AFC's Ravishankar Gupta proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 36th minute of the match, managed to save Oswesasdtry AFC from getting a goal against them. In the 40th minute of the match Bontu Holkar sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Bali Agrawal skillfully saved the ball. In the 43rd minute Bhupen Rani shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ravishankar Gupta saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Balamadi Tind fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ravishankar Gupta having to interfere.

After having played for 53 minutes, Balamadi Tind managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Newport Unweited's supporters crossed their fingers, but Balamadi Tind was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 57th minute, Kshama Khangura reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Bali Agrawal. The goal made the score 1-1. 61 minutes into the match, Oswesasdtry AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Jujhar Jethani came free, but Ravishankar Gupta reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Krtamukha Thiara during the 65th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Bali Agrawal made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kshama Khangura in the 69th minute of play.
