If Amarajota Jain had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 5th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 8 minutes into the match, Rawmarshsd City's goal looked a bit too open when Lall Chohan came free, but Jawaheer Varghese reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jawaheer Varghese showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lall Chohan in the 12th minute of the match. In the 13th minute of the match, Amarajota Jain got a very nice opportunity to score, but Jawaheer Varghese was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. 14 minutes into the game, Jatinderpreet Goyal cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Narinderpal Deol was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Jawaheer Varghese made a fantastic save in the 22nd minute, when Indrayan Bhardwaj sent off a good shot on target. The audience thought a goal was coming when Amarajota Jain got free with Jawaheer Varghese in the 25th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Jawaheer Varghese was out of position in the 26 minute of play, and Amarajota Jain capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Amarajota Jain really showed his touch with that goal: 1-1. Through an outstanding action, after 30 minutes, Jawaheer Varghese successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. The audience thought a goal was coming when Indrayan Bhardwaj got free with Jawaheer Varghese in the 31st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 37 played minutes Rawmarshsd City got a freekick which was hit by Ili Daire. Lall Chohan recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 38th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 39th minute, Divoja Pandey hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 47 played minutes Rawmarshsd City got a freekick which was hit by Kanksita Shindi. Lall Chohan, 47 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Lall Chohan stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Narinderpal Deol made an important save on a dangerous shot by Amaradatta Vishwakarma in the 52nd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Amarajota Jain in the 55th minute of play forced Rawmarshsd City's goalkeeper Jawaheer Varghese to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 66th minute Vasantha Rathod shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jawaheer Varghese saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Amaradatta Vishwakarma could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 70th minute of the match, but Narinderpal Deol made a huge save. Jawaheer Varghese took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vasantha Rathod, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 79 minutes into the game, Jatinderpreet Goyal was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Rawmarshsd City's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave NAGALAND FC the free kick. NAGALAND FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 81st minute, when Javanila Kooner scored to the left of an out of position Narinderpal Deol, making the score, 3-3. NAGALAND FC's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
