Spectators: 7600 (Terracing: 5500, Seating: 2000, VIP seats: 100) Balastha Das started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. In the 4th minute, one of Scunthorpe:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Scunthorpe. The goalkeeper, Devarha Hundal, was totally fooled by HAMMER's Atamas Dambria, who 5 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. Devarha Hundal was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Devila Biswas showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-0 in the 10 minute of play. After 13 played minutes Scunthorpe got a freekick which was hit by Kamaljeet Linyu. Sobha Mandal took the ball and in the 18 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Devarha Hundal. Devarha Hundal dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-0. In the 21st minute Atamas Dambria shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Devarha Hundal saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A sloppy throw-in by Sridhar Sharma in the 25th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Scunthorpe's Kamaljeet Linyu. 26 minutes into the match, Scunthorpe's goal looked a bit too open when Anasin Phom came free, but Devarha Hundal reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 27th minute Atamas Dambria shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Devarha Hundal saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Scunthorpe's Mahendra Shindi suffered a concussion in the 29th minute, after a hard challenge, and had to leave the field. Jugala Anand's late challenge caught a Scunthorpe's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jugala Anand helped the player get up and apologised. Scunthorpe's Ananthakrishanan Bhave was substituted for Mahendra Shindi. The supporters of Scunthorpe booed when HAMMER was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 30 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jugala Anand didn't get a good kick on the ball. Kamaljeet Linyu, 30 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. 33 minutes into the match, HAMMER's Sobha Mandal sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Devarha Hundal narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Scunthorpe's Devarha Hundal played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Atamas Dambria in the 34th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Scunthorpe's zone, Sobha Mandal stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Devarha Hundal came out of the goal and Sobha Mandal tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Kamaljeet Linyu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The wind increased when Atamas Dambria made the kick off in the second half. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Sobha Mandal in the 54th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Devarha Hundal saved Scunthorpe from getting behind. After 54 played minutes Scunthorpe got a freekick which was hit by Atithigva Dasgupta. Devarha Hundal showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Atamas Dambria in the 57th minute of the match. Devarha Hundal took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Atamas Dambria, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 61stth minute of the game Atamas Dambria who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Scunthorpe's Devarha Hundal was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Sobha Mandal struck a weak shot in the 64th minute. Devarha Hundal didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for HAMMER. 68 minutes into the match, Scunthorpe's goal looked a bit too open when Sobha Mandal came free, but Devarha Hundal reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Caruhasan Ghoshal showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ananthakrishanan Bhave, who was totally free with the ball in the 75th minute. Devarha Hundal showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Atamas Dambria in the 78th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sobha Mandal in the 81st minute of play forced Scunthorpe's goalkeeper Devarha Hundal to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Atamas Dambria kicked well hit freekick during the 89th minute of the match. An unexpected shot in the 91st minute by Ananthakrishanan Bhave got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. In the 94th minute Atamas Dambria shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Devarha Hundal saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
