Himambu Rahul didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Balakrishna Jaggi went, in the 20th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. 23 minutes into the match, BARCELONA's Laxman Nayak sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Kamaraja Barmi narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The supporters of BARCELONA booed when Belvedere FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 27 match minutes in a wonderful position. Amritadana Acharya didn't get a good kick on the ball. Belvedere FC's Kamaraja Barmi proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 28th minute of the match, managed to save Belvedere FC from getting a goal against them. 34 minutes into the match, BARCELONA's goal looked a bit too open when Balakrishna Jaggi came free, but Himambu Rahul reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Himambu Rahul was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Balakrishna Jaggi showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-3 in the 65 minute of play. In the 69th minute, Ghanambu Gill hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Himambu Rahul was a little too slow when Bala Chattophadhyay got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 74th minute. The score was now 2-4. BARCELONA's Himambu Rahul played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Balakrishna Jaggi in the 78th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Balakrishna Jaggi in the 82nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Himambu Rahul saved BARCELONA from getting behind. Balakrishna Jaggi who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 84thth minute tested the skills of Himambu Rahul when he managed to save the team from getting behind. With a little luck, BARCELONA's Himambu Rahul got control of the ball when Balakrishna Jaggi tried to sneak it across the goal line. Balakrishna Jaggi received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Himambu Rahul came out and tried to block the shot, but Balakrishna Jaggi slotted it home off the left post making it 2-5 in the 87th minute. Belvedere FC's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
