After some careless play in the Chang Thai defense, Sawek Pimsurin kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Wittawath Boriboonphun. The Chang Thai fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Wittawath Boriboonphun should have stopped the shot. If Sawek Pimsurin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 17 played minutes Red Star FC got a freekick which was hit by Thanawat Wastanagoun. After a defensive mix-up in Chang Thai's zone, Sawek Pimsurin stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Wittawath Boriboonphun came out of the goal and Sawek Pimsurin tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 22nd minute Thanawat Wastanagoun shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Wittawath Boriboonphun saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Red Star FC's Sawek Pimsurin in the 24th minute got a chance for a shot 24th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Sawek Pimsurin blasted a shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Wittawath Boriboonphun having to make a save. After a rather tough play, Chang Thai's Tawan Boonkasemsin got a free kick in the 31st minute. Torn Ritraya sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Sawek Pimsurin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 45th minute Thanawat Wastanagoun shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Wittawath Boriboonphun saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 4-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Theraphat Jomwong was the one to do the kick off. 53 minutes into the match, Chang Thai's Pongsawat Pertoy sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Kiattirat Choonama narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Wittawath Boriboonphun showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Thanawat Wastanagoun in the 55th minute of the match. Sawek Pimsurin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 62 minutes into the match, Thanawat Wastanagoun notched a goal, 5-0, to the right of Chang Thai's Wittawath Boriboonphun. Wittawath Boriboonphun was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Theraphat Jomwong struck a weak shot in the 66th minute. Kiattirat Choonama didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Chang Thai. Wittawath Boriboonphun came out of the goal and Sawek Pimsurin tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Wittawath Boriboonphun showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Thanawat Wastanagoun, who was totally free with the ball in the 82nd minute. The audience was convinced that Sawek Pimsurin's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Wittawath Boriboonphun was relentless in the 86th minute of the game. When Peera Kanenil came up free with the goalie in the 88th minute, the Red Star FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Peera Kanenil couldn't finish the play. 96 minutes into the match, Thanawat Wastanagoun had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Wittawath Boriboonphun. Chang Thai's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Thanawat Wastanagoun was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 7-0. When the referee ended the match the Red Star FC players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
