An unexpectedly hard shot by Amornthep Pangsaard in the 11th minute of play forced Kusuman's goalkeeper Tissadee Jirajongsiripong to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 13 minutes into the match, Sawek Pimsurin had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Tissadee Jirajongsiripong. The audience was convinced that Sawek Pimsurin's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Tissadee Jirajongsiripong was relentless in the 34th minute of the game. The Red Star FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-6. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Sawek Pimsurin in the 46th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Tissadee Jirajongsiripong saved Kusuman from getting behind. Disappointed in the 1-6 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Rathasart Pertoy stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The supporters of Kusuman booed when Red Star FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 52 match minutes in a wonderful position. Amornthep Pangsaard didn't get a good kick on the ball. Sawek Pimsurin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Tissadee Jirajongsiripong tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Thanawat Wastanagoun fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tissadee Jirajongsiripong having to interfere. A wasted opportunity for Red Star FC. In the 60th minute, Peera Kanenil reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Tissadee Jirajongsiripong. The goal made the score 1-7. Sawek Pimsurin recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 63rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Thanawat Wastanagoun might have been able to make a better finish in the 64th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Tissadee Jirajongsiripong. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Thanawat Wastanagoun ran back to his position shaking his head. Tissadee Jirajongsiripong came out of the goal in the 65th minute to try and stop a shot by Red Star FC's Sawek Pimsurin. But to his dismay, Sawek Pimsurin quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-8. In the 71st minute, Samart Hongthong hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 72nd match minute, Kusuman was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nuttawut Vavdaw to maneuver through the defense. Peera Kanenil received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute. Tissadee Jirajongsiripong tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Sawek Pimsurin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Sawek Pimsurin could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 90th minute of the match, but Tissadee Jirajongsiripong made a huge save. The Kusuman fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Red Star FC were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
