Spectators: 9148 (Terracing: 6909, Seating: 2117, VIP seats: 122) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Teerasak Thumwong took the kick off in the first half of the match. Tawat Chaiprakhon received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 3rd minute. Wimut Wongkla tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Tawat Chaiprakhon recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 6th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The supporters of Chiang Mai Football Club booed when Ban Khun Ya was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 7 match minutes in a wonderful position. Teerasak Thumwong didn't get a good kick on the ball. Tawat Chaiprakhon sent away a hard shot on goal in the 9th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Wimut Wongkla took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sutthisak Moolpakdee, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ban Khun Ya's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Chiang Mai Football Club the free kick. Paiboon Phatthanasing took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Teerasak Thumwong, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Wirak Makeh sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Chiang Mai Football Club's Tawat Chaiprakhon got a free kick in the 18th minute. Pinthusorn Kheangraeng fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Wimut Wongkla having to interfere. In the 22nd minute, Kasidit Pantasen hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 25 minutes into the match, Chiang Mai Football Club's goal looked a bit too open when Teerasak Thumwong came free, but Paiboon Phatthanasing reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Kasidit Pantasen hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Tawat Chaiprakhon during the 27th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. 35 minutes into the match, Chiang Mai Football Club's Tawat Chaiprakhon sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Wimut Wongkla narrowly saved just below the crossbar. If Pinthusorn Kheangraeng had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 38th minute, Tawat Chaiprakhon got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Pinthusorn Kheangraeng sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Pinthusorn Kheangraeng came up free with the goalie in the 42nd minute, the Chiang Mai Football Club fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Pinthusorn Kheangraeng couldn't finish the play. Wimut Wongkla stood somewhat misplaced when Tawat Chaiprakhon came free in front of goal and shot 1-0 to the left of him in the 44 minute. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

After some fancy dribbling in the 56th minute, Sutthisak Moolpakdee managed to get in a good position for a shot. Chiang Mai Football Club's supporters rose to their feet, but Sutthisak Moolpakdee was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Wimut Wongkla breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Wimut Wongkla came out of the goal in the 60th minute to try and stop a shot by Chiang Mai Football Club's Khanakorn Charoenmas. But to his dismay, Khanakorn Charoenmas quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. Sutthisak Moolpakdee fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Wimut Wongkla having to interfere. If Tawat Chaiprakhon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Ban Khun Ya booed when Chiang Mai Football Club was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 70 match minutes in a wonderful position. Noppawong Jiranusak didn't get a good kick on the ball. Panupong Rainaree took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 71st minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Paiboon Phatthanasing. Chiang Mai Football Club's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Chiang Mai Football Club's Pinthusorn Kheangraeng got a good chance for a goal in the 74th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The audience was convinced that Tawat Chaiprakhon's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Wimut Wongkla was relentless in the 76th minute of the game. 80 minutes into the game, Thinnakorn Panlucksa was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Ban Khun Ya's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Chiang Mai Football Club the free kick. A collision led to Ban Khun Ya getting a freekick after 80 minutes play. Thinnakorn Panlucksa hit a great ball. The audience was convinced that Pinthusorn Kheangraeng's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Wimut Wongkla was relentless in the 83rd minute of the game. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Pinthusorn Kheangraeng in the 84th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Wimut Wongkla saved Ban Khun Ya from getting behind. Wimut Wongkla made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sutthisak Moolpakdee in the 86th minute of play. 88 minutes into the match, Chiang Mai Football Club's goal looked a bit too open when Wuthichai Mamee came free, but Paiboon Phatthanasing reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 89th minute, Ban Khun Ya's Wirak Makeh dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-1. Ban Khun Ya's Wimut Wongkla played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kasidit Pantasen in the 94th minute of play. If Sutthisak Moolpakdee had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
