Rangers C.F's players were relieved. Yodpret Vongsakun came out of the goal in the 30th minute to try and stop a shot by Chiang Mai Football Club's Tawat Chaiprakhon. But to his dismay, Tawat Chaiprakhon quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. Yodpret Vongsakun made an important save on a dangerous shot by Tawat Chaiprakhon in the 33rd minute. Pinthusorn Kheangraeng could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 38th minute of the match, but Yodpret Vongsakun made a huge save. Yuttanun Yongmalwong struck a weak shot in the 39th minute. Paiboon Phatthanasing didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Rangers C.F. 43 minutes into the match, Rangers C.F's goal looked a bit too open when Tawat Chaiprakhon came free, but Yodpret Vongsakun reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Diego-Alexander Maradona was the one to do the kick off. Teerachai Saetang charged in rather forcefully in the 77th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Teerachai Saetang the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 76 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Rangers C.F! Yodpret Vongsakun showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Theerasak Thongsri in the 86th minute of the match. Yodpret Vongsakun made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Theerasak Thongsri in the 88th minute of play. Chiang Mai Football Club walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
