Sek Kubkratouk kicked well hit freekick during the 3rd minute of the match. The supporters of Saphan Kwai booed when Sheffield FC1857 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 4 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sontaya Peerapattana didn't get a good kick on the ball. Sheffield FC1857's Paiboon Permpol played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ronnapob Muangon in the 9th minute of play. In the 11th minute of the match Luiz Gustavo Brasil shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Paiboon Permpol showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. When the match clock showed 12 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Ronnapob Muangon sped through Sheffield FC1857's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Paiboon Permpol. Thani Mettarikanon sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Angelo Eder made an important save on a dangerous shot by Reginald Muggleton in the 19th minute. Angelo Eder took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gavril Stejaru, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Angelo Eder made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sayan Kitiwinit in the 22nd minute of play. In the 25th match minute, Sheffield FC1857 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Komkrit Monkeaw to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 27th minute, Thani Mettarikanon managed to get in a good position for a shot. Sheffield FC1857's supporters rose to their feet, but Thani Mettarikanon was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Angelo Eder breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Angelo Eder took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sayan Kitiwinit, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 32nd minute Sayan Kitiwinit shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Angelo Eder saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Sheffield FC1857 were awarded a corner in the 34th minute after Saphan Kwai's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Sontaya Peerapattana took the corner. Sheffield FC1857's Komkrit Monkeaw was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Angelo Eder in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. 36 minutes into the match, Saphan Kwai's goalkeeper Angelo Eder had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Thani Mettarikanon. After a rather tough play, Saphan Kwai's Johann Schopp got a free kick in the 36th minute. A collision led to Saphan Kwai getting a freekick after 38 minutes play. Javier Ugutz hit a great ball. Angelo Eder made a fantastic save in the 39th minute, when Sontaya Peerapattana sent off a good shot on target. In the 42nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Saphan Kwai's goalkeeper Angelo Eder, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Thani Mettarikanon recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 48th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The Sheffield FC1857 players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Saphan Kwai were winning 0-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ronnapob Muangon to make the kick off. Paiboon Permpol took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ronnapob Muangon, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 57 minutes into the match, Saphan Kwai's goal looked a bit too open when Reginald Muggleton came free, but Angelo Eder reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Angelo Eder stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Thani Mettarikanon's shot from short distance in the 59th minute. Ronnapob Muangon could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 64th minute of the match, but Paiboon Permpol made a huge save. Angelo Eder showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Reginald Muggleton, who was totally free with the ball in the 69th minute. In the 69th minute, Reginald Muggleton ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Angelo Eder was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. 75 minutes into the match, Saphan Kwai's goal looked a bit too open when Thani Mettarikanon came free, but Angelo Eder reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Angelo Eder made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Thani Mettarikanon in the 78th minute of play. Angelo Eder made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Reginald Muggleton in the 79th minute of play. Sayan Kitiwinit struck a weak shot in the 87th minute. Angelo Eder didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Sheffield FC1857. After some careless play in the Saphan Kwai defense, Gavril Stejaru kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Angelo Eder. The Saphan Kwai fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Angelo Eder should have stopped the shot. After a rather tough play, Sheffield FC1857's Thani Mettarikanon got a free kick in the 96th minute. Sheffield FC1857 were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Saphan Kwai for a fine match.
