Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Pit Sanghirun in the 9th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Tanadol Charoenwong prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Pit Sanghirun sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Tanadol Charoenwong showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Paradorn Leema, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. After 18 played minutes Bilbao Baggins got a freekick which was hit by Watcharin Chollnakasom. 21 minutes into the match, Mighty MustardMonks's goalkeeper Tanadol Charoenwong had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Wieslaw Domeracki. When 江鸿誉 came up free with the goalie in the 22nd minute, the Mighty MustardMonks fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that 江鸿誉 couldn't finish the play. 31 minutes into the match, Mighty MustardMonks's goalkeeper Tanadol Charoenwong had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Pit Sanghirun. Tanadol Charoenwong took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pit Sanghirun, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Tanadol Charoenwong was a little too slow when Pit Sanghirun got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 41st minute. The score was now 1-0. After a rather tough play, Bilbao Baggins's Monchai Sirirattanothai got a free kick in the 45th minute. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Mighty MustardMonks's Tanadol Charoenwong played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Wilfredo Poncio in the 51st minute of play. Mighty MustardMonks were awarded a corner in the 56th minute after Bilbao Baggins's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Tanek Kochanowicz took the corner. A nice corner shot did that Tanek Kochanowicz got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Gideon Faturrahman quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. When the match had gone on for 57 minutes, Pit Sanghirun put it in 2-0 from a short distance just to the right of Tanadol Charoenwong. Tanadol Charoenwong made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pit Sanghirun in the 64th minute of play. Tiradet Thavornsukhavadee received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. Gideon Faturrahman tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Tiradet Thavornsukhavadee blasted a shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Gideon Faturrahman having to make a save. With a little luck, Bilbao Baggins's Gideon Faturrahman got control of the ball when 江鸿誉 tried to sneak it across the goal line. After having played for 75 minutes, Tiradet Thavornsukhavadee managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Mighty MustardMonks's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tiradet Thavornsukhavadee was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 79th minute Paradorn Leema shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tanadol Charoenwong saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Bilbao Baggins's zone, 江鸿誉 stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gideon Faturrahman came out of the goal and 江鸿誉 tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 江鸿誉 received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Gideon Faturrahman tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Mighty MustardMonks's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
