PSI Sungaimanau's supporters rose to their feet, but Salman Suprianto was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Khalis Fingkreuw breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The Petapahan FC fans' excitement grew in the 13th match minute when Petapahan FC's Dodo Sulistyono looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. After a rather tough play, PSI Sungaimanau's Edo Paat got a free kick in the 16th minute. A collision led to Petapahan FC getting a freekick after 18 minutes play. Mourent Gozali hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in PSI Sungaimanau's zone, Emil Sucipto stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Khalis Sapulette came out of the goal and Emil Sucipto tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Petapahan FC's Emil Sucipto in the 25th minute got a chance for a shot 25th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye PSI Sungaimanau's goalie prevented a goal. Emil Sucipto struck a weak shot in the 27th minute. Khalis Sapulette didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Petapahan FC. If Dodo Sulistyono had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to PSI Sungaimanau getting a freekick after 36 minutes play. Edo Paat hit a great ball. The audience held their breath when Mourent Gozali in the 38th minute of the game managed to trick the opponents defenses and fired away a shot outside the goal on the Khalis Sapulette's left hand side. Emil Sucipto recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 41st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The audience held their breath when Mourent Gozali in the 45th minute of the game managed to trick the opponents defenses and fired away a shot outside the goal on the Khalis Sapulette's left hand side. Khalis Sapulette took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ebieth Darmuis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Salman Suprianto was the one to do the kick off. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Andra Supardi in the 61st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Khalis Fingkreuw saved Petapahan FC from getting behind. Salman Suprianto struck a weak shot in the 65th minute. Khalis Fingkreuw didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for PSI Sungaimanau. Andra Supardi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Khalis Fingkreuw having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet as Emil Sucipto kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Khalis Sapulette. That made the score 0-3 in the 69 minute of play. 73 minutes into the match, Dodo Sulistyono had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Khalis Sapulette. PSI Sungaimanau's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Dodo Sulistyono was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-4. In the 78th minute Salman Suprianto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Khalis Fingkreuw saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Dodo Sulistyono received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 80th minute. Khalis Sapulette tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet as Emil Sucipto kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Khalis Sapulette. That made the score 0-5 in the 83 minute of play. If Emil Sucipto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Emil Sucipto came up free with the goalie in the 89th minute, the Petapahan FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Emil Sucipto couldn't finish the play. Emil Sucipto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Petapahan FC's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
