Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Benny Goeslaw started the match with the kick off. After 3 played minutes Totohe got a freekick which was hit by Mahyadi Iskandardinata. Dikdik Talambanua's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Abdi Hutabarat read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 10th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Yaris Karundeng in the 17th minute of play forced Cibahar's goalkeeper Abdi Hutabarat to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 26 minutes into the match, Cibahar's Benny Goeslaw sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Nicolas Pattinasarani narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 29th minute the ball was on its way in behind Cibahar's goalkeeper Abdi Hutabarat, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Yaris Karundeng in the 31st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Abdi Hutabarat saved Cibahar from getting behind. When Kia Sondakh fell near the penalty area in the 32nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Totohe's protests and gave Kia Sondakh a yellow card for diving instead. With a little luck, Cibahar's Abdi Hutabarat got control of the ball when Dikdik Talambanua tried to sneak it across the goal line. Nicolas Pattinasarani showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Otong Kasrun, who was totally free with the ball in the 44th minute. In the 44th match minute, Totohe was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Patar Adriansyah to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, Totohe's Teddy Sumendap got a free kick in the 46th minute. 47 minutes into the match, Cibahar's Stefan Wicaksono broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Yaris Karundeng made a kick off. 53 minutes into the game, Paulus Arifin was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Totohe's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Cibahar the free kick. In the 54th match minute, Totohe was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Paulus Arifin to maneuver through the defense. Mahyadi Iskandardinata sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee showed Eddy Burhanuddin the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 77 played minutes Cibahar got a freekick which was hit by Eddy Burhanuddin. 83 minutes into the match, Yaris Karundeng had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Abdi Hutabarat. Cibahar's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Yaris Karundeng was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. Yaris Karundeng's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Abdi Hutabarat read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 92nd minute of play. Cibahar's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
