Maman Djokodamono charged in rather forcefully in the 27th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Maman Djokodamono the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 27th minute, Maman Djokodamono hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Sobur Sutikno came up free with the goalie in the 30th minute, the Soekasade fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Sobur Sutikno couldn't finish the play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Raymond Bangun during the 33rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Soekasade's Raymond Bangun got a free kick in the 34th minute. If I Gde Leimena had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. I Gde Leimena's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Bertha Prabowo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 37th minute of play. I Gde Leimena fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bertha Prabowo having to interfere. I Gde Leimena took the ball and in the 42 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Bertha Prabowo. Bertha Prabowo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. After 45 played minutes Wehas FC got a freekick which was hit by Oyon Gustomi. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Francis Wibisono was the one to do the kick off. If I Gde Leimena had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After having played for 65 minutes, Dodik Nadeak managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Wehas FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Dodik Nadeak was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The supporters of Wehas FC booed when Soekasade was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 68 match minutes in a wonderful position. Robbie Prakoso didn't get a good kick on the ball. Wehas FC's I Gde Leimena got a good chance for a goal in the 69th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Francis Wibisono in the 72nd minute of play forced Wehas FC's goalkeeper Gideon Mangkunagara to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gideon Mangkunagara was a little too slow when Francis Wibisono got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 75th minute. The score was now 1-2. Gideon Mangkunagara made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sobur Sutikno in the 77th minute of play. Sobur Sutikno received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 79th minute.
