Spectators: 7524 (Terracing: 5644, Seating: 1730, VIP seats: 150) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Agus Tampubolon took the kick off in the first half of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Riau FC's zone, Agus Tampubolon stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Teddy Kartasasmita came out of the goal and Agus Tampubolon tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Ruhut Sanusi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 7th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 9 minutes into the game, Nyllaly Haryono was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Riau FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Akedabo FC the free kick. The supporters of Akedabo FC booed when Riau FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 9 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nyllaly Haryono didn't get a good kick on the ball. 15 minutes into the match, Akedabo FC's goal looked a bit too open when Sahala Sungkono came free, but Iram Saepuloh reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Iram Saepuloh made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sahala Sungkono in the 17th minute of play. Iram Saepuloh stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Sahala Sungkono's shot from short distance in the 19th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Firman Sobarna in the 20th minute of play forced Akedabo FC's goalkeeper Iram Saepuloh to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 23 minutes into the match, Akedabo FC's goal looked a bit too open when Firman Sobarna came free, but Iram Saepuloh reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After having played for 24 minutes, Firman Sobarna managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Riau FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Firman Sobarna was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 26th minute the ball was on its way in behind Riau FC's goalkeeper Teddy Kartasasmita, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Firman Sobarna received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Iram Saepuloh tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Firman Sobarna's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Iram Saepuloh was relentless in the 33rd minute of the game. After the first half Riau FC were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Sahala Sungkono made a kick off. Agus Tampubolon received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. Teddy Kartasasmita tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Akedabo FC's Sondang Abissay got a free kick in the 55th minute. If Sahala Sungkono had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 61st minute, Seno Assegaf left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Riau FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. Teddy Kartasasmita came out of the goal in the 65th minute to try and stop a shot by Akedabo FC's Agus Tampubolon. But to his dismay, Agus Tampubolon quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. Teddy Kartasasmita made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Agus Tampubolon in the 70th minute of play. The supporters of Akedabo FC booed when Riau FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 71 match minutes in a wonderful position. Seno Assegaf didn't get a good kick on the ball. 79 minutes into the match, Akedabo FC's goal looked a bit too open when Sahala Sungkono came free, but Iram Saepuloh reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a little luck, Akedabo FC's Iram Saepuloh got control of the ball when Firman Sobarna tried to sneak it across the goal line. Agus Tampubolon sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
