Kadek Astrajingga came out of the goal and Erol Darmuis tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Erol Darmuis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kadek Astrajingga having to interfere. 34 minutes into the game, Amran Witarya was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. PSM Beabah's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Saint Mandailing the free kick. The supporters of Saint Mandailing booed when PSM Beabah was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 34 match minutes in a wonderful position. Amran Witarya didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience was convinced that Romi Amiruddin's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Kadek Astrajingga was relentless in the 42nd minute of the game. Erol Darmuis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 46th minute, Romi Amiruddin left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Saint Mandailing fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Romi Amiruddin to make the kick off. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Romi Amiruddin in the 52nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Kadek Astrajingga saved PSM Beabah from getting behind. Erol Darmuis struck a weak shot in the 56th minute. Kadek Astrajingga didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Saint Mandailing. Kadek Astrajingga made a fantastic save in the 62nd minute, when Erol Darmuis sent off a good shot on target. After having played for 64 minutes, Romi Amiruddin managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Saint Mandailing's supporters crossed their fingers, but Romi Amiruddin was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. PSM Beabah's Kadek Astrajingga played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Romi Amiruddin in the 67th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in PSM Beabah's zone, Erol Darmuis stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Kadek Astrajingga came out of the goal and Erol Darmuis tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Erol Darmuis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute. Kadek Astrajingga tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. PSM Beabah's Kadek Astrajingga proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 80th minute of the match, managed to save PSM Beabah from getting a goal against them. Kadek Astrajingga took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Romi Amiruddin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Erol Darmuis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 82nd minute. Kadek Astrajingga tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Erol Darmuis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Kadek Astrajingga made an important save on a dangerous shot by Erol Darmuis in the 89th minute. When Saint Mandailing's Romi Amiruddin in the 92nd minute got a chance for a shot 92nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye PSM Beabah's goalie prevented a goal. When Erol Darmuis came up free with the goalie in the 95th minute, the Saint Mandailing fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Erol Darmuis couldn't finish the play. If Romi Amiruddin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 98th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Saint Mandailing played a much better game than PSM Beabah and deserved their victory. The PSM Beabah players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
