In the 10th minute of the match Djalil Kusdianto sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Didik Pramana skillfully saved the ball. Ucup Alatas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. Didik Pramana tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 19 minutes into the game, Yahya Haddad was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Pangleseran FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Crusader FC the free kick. The supporters of Crusader FC booed when Pangleseran FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Yahya Haddad didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ucup Alatas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Didik Pramana tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 31 minutes into the match, Crusader FC's goalkeeper Marzuki Christiawan had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Karel Chaniago. 33 minutes into the match, Pangleseran FC's goal looked a bit too open when Sandy Betay came free, but Didik Pramana reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Djalil Kusdianto during the 35th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 35 played minutes Crusader FC got a freekick which was hit by Djalil Kusdianto. Sandy Betay sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Crusader FC's Ucup Alatas got a good chance for a goal in the 44th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 45 played minutes Pangleseran FC got a freekick which was hit by Munawar Noya. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ucup Alatas to make the kick off. Darto Sarbini kicked well hit freekick during the 56th minute of the match. In the 62nd minute, Dede Husodo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Karel Chaniago came up free with the goalie in the 65th minute, the Pangleseran FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Karel Chaniago couldn't finish the play. Crusader FC's Marzuki Christiawan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Karel Chaniago in the 70th minute of play. Ucup Alatas's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Didik Pramana read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 73rd minute of play. After 78 minutes of play, Pangleseran FC's Karel Chaniago made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Marzuki Christiawan was left in no man's land by his defense there! An unexpectedly hard shot by Ucup Alatas in the 84th minute of play forced Pangleseran FC's goalkeeper Didik Pramana to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Pangleseran FC's Munawar Noya was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Marzuki Christiawan in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. The home crowd let out a huge roar when the referee blew for the end of the game. Pangleseran FC were victorious despite being under pressure from Crusader FC for much of the match.
