Achyar Panjaitan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 7th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Kamal De Weerd took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kiki Sophian, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a defensive mix-up in Ciodeng FC's zone, Ilyas Witarya stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Kamal De Weerd came out of the goal and Ilyas Witarya tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Johan Somantri had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Kiki Sophian got free with Kamal De Weerd in the 18th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Kiki Sophians short, quick shot in the 21stth minute got Kamal De Weerd to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. If Ilyas Witarya had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Ilyas Witarya received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Kamal De Weerd tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Kiki Sophian fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kamal De Weerd having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet as Asmer Fc's Johan Somantri slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Kamal De Weerd. That made the score 1-0 after 27 minutes of play. Johan Somantri sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 34th minute, Ilyas Witarya got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 36th minute, Vennard Sadikin got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Kamal De Weerd took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Johan Somantri, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Galih Rakasiwi in the 41st minute of play forced Ciodeng FC's goalkeeper Kamal De Weerd to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 42 played minutes Ciodeng FC got a freekick which was hit by Indra Jatnika. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Didiet Tuheteru stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Johan Somantri sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 69th minute, Boyke Garnita managed to get in a good position for a shot. Asmer Fc's supporters rose to their feet, but Boyke Garnita was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Kamal De Weerd breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Kiki Sophian sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience was convinced that Kiki Sophian's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Kamal De Weerd was relentless in the 76th minute of the game. Ilyas Witarya recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 79th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After having played for 85 minutes, Kiki Sophian managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Asmer Fc's supporters crossed their fingers, but Kiki Sophian was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ilyas Witarya recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 87th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ciodeng FC's Kamal De Weerd played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kiki Sophian in the 88th minute of play. The supporters of Ciodeng FC booed when Asmer Fc was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 92 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ilyas Witarya didn't get a good kick on the ball.
