Spectators: 6780 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1730, VIP seats: 50) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Adang Barus got the match started through his kick off. FC. SAMARANTU's Rully Subagdja played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bento Sagala in the 2nd minute of play. Rully Subagdja took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bento Sagala, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Teddy Kalengkongan recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 11th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Rully Subagdja made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fathoni Riyanto in the 26th minute of play. In the 28th minute of the match Alvin Widianto sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Rully Subagdja skillfully saved the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fathoni Riyanto in the 29th minute of play forced FC. SAMARANTU's goalkeeper Rully Subagdja to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Katjangan's Ujo Masengi proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 34th minute of the match, managed to save Katjangan from getting a goal against them. After some careless play in the Katjangan defense, Yazid Firmansyah kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ujo Masengi. The Katjangan fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ujo Masengi should have stopped the shot. After some fancy dribbling in the 44th minute, Bento Sagala managed to get in a good position for a shot. Katjangan's supporters rose to their feet, but Bento Sagala was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Rully Subagdja breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Katjangan's Ujo Masengi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Adang Barus in the 51st minute of play. Ujo Masengi didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Adang Barus went, in the 54th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. Bento Sagala received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. Rully Subagdja tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ivan Barus kicked well hit freekick during the 64th minute of the match. Rully Subagdja made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fathoni Riyanto in the 65th minute of play. FC. SAMARANTU's Adang Barus got a good chance for a goal in the 74th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 75 played minutes Katjangan got a freekick which was hit by Wisnu Hutapea. In the 78th minute, Bento Sagala ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Rully Subagdja was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-2. Bento Sagala who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 88thth minute tested the skills of Rully Subagdja when he managed to save the team from getting behind. The supporters of Katjangan booed when FC. SAMARANTU was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 90 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ivan Barus didn't get a good kick on the ball. 94 minutes into the game, Fathoni Riyanto recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Rully Subagdja. Fathoni Riyanto showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 3-3. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
