Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Fuad Ardianto fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 3rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Harvey Pitoy having to interfere. With his leg Asrin Awom managed to avoid a goal in the 10thth minute, when Gokata's Yusron Wewengkang fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 11th match minute, PS Borneo Merdeka was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kimung Prayogo to maneuver through the defense. The audience was convinced that Yusron Wewengkang's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Asrin Awom was relentless in the 12th minute of the game. Harvey Pitoy came out of the goal in the 17th minute to try and stop a shot by PS Borneo Merdeka's Reynaldo Hamzah. But to his dismay, Reynaldo Hamzah quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. 20 minutes into the game, Hanung Gantina was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Gokata's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave PS Borneo Merdeka the free kick. If Rhoma Simanungkalit had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Rhoma Simanungkalit received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. Asrin Awom tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 35th match minute, PS Borneo Merdeka was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Xaverius Afiffudin to maneuver through the defense. Gokata's Rhoma Simanungkalit got a good chance for a goal in the 41st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 43rd minute Yusron Wewengkang shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Asrin Awom saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Reynaldo Hamzah to strike the kick off in the second half. Abu Simamora kicked well hit freekick during the 56th minute of the match. After having played for 61 minutes, Fuad Ardianto managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. PS Borneo Merdeka's supporters crossed their fingers, but Fuad Ardianto was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Harvey Pitoy took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Reynaldo Hamzah, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 66th minute Rhoma Simanungkalit shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Asrin Awom saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 71 minutes, Toyo Adnyana mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Gokata and the PS Borneo Merdeka players grew even worse after the yellow card. 74 minutes into the match, PS Borneo Merdeka's goal looked a bit too open when Yusron Wewengkang came free, but Asrin Awom reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Yusron Wewengkang had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
