Asrin Awom took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rudi Dinanto, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 25 minutes into the match, PS Borneo Merdeka's goal looked a bit too open when Eri Sundoro came free, but Asrin Awom reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, PSB Inggureo's Gandung Asmara got a free kick in the 28th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Reynaldo Hamzah in the 34th minute of play forced PSB Inggureo's goalkeeper Martinus Haeruddin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 35 minutes into the game, Kimung Prayogo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. PS Borneo Merdeka's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave PSB Inggureo the free kick. A collision led to PS Borneo Merdeka getting a freekick after 35 minutes play. Kimung Prayogo hit a great ball. Fuad Ardianto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Kimung Prayogo kicked well hit freekick during the 54th minute of the match. Rudi Dinanto's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 55thth minute, Asrin Awom skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Xaverius Afiffudin hit a great freekick 56 minutes into the match. PS Borneo Merdeka's Asrin Awom proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 58th minute of the match, managed to save PS Borneo Merdeka from getting a goal against them. Martinus Haeruddin came out of the goal in the 67th minute to try and stop a shot by PS Borneo Merdeka's Reynaldo Hamzah. But to his dismay, Reynaldo Hamzah quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. Fuad Ardianto scored 3-0 in the 70th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Martinus Haeruddin, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 73 minutes into the match, PSB Inggureo's goal looked a bit too open when Reynaldo Hamzah came free, but Martinus Haeruddin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 76th minute, Eri Sundoro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 77th minute of the game. One of PSB Inggureo:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of PS Borneo Merdeka:s goal. After 84 played minutes PSB Inggureo got a freekick which was hit by Eri Sundoro. Martinus Haeruddin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Reynaldo Hamzah, who was totally free with the ball in the 86th minute. The supporters of PS Borneo Merdeka booed when PSB Inggureo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 87 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cokro Sudirman didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, PSB Inggureo's Cokro Sudirman got a free kick in the 91st minute. PSB Inggureo's Martinus Haeruddin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Reynaldo Hamzah in the 92nd minute of play. In the 94th minute, Fuad Ardianto got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in PSB Inggureo's zone, Fuad Ardianto stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Martinus Haeruddin came out of the goal and Fuad Ardianto tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.
