In the 36th minute Pinilih Tampubolon shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Akbar Mandaga saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Through an outstanding action, after 39 minutes, Ardian Marantika successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Danu Kartasapoetra was the one to do the kick off. In the 67th minute, Bagong Firasat got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The supporters of Purwohardjo FC booed when Terdengar FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 68 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ikin Marpaung didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 71 minutes, Saul Kartawidjaja mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Terdengar FC and the Purwohardjo FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Akbar Mandaga didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Purwohardjo FC. When Pinilih Tampubolon came up free with the goalie in the 92nd minute, the Purwohardjo FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Pinilih Tampubolon couldn't finish the play. 95 minutes into the match, Pance Rumaropen notched a goal, 2-3, to the right of Purwohardjo FC's Ardian Marantika. Ardian Marantika was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Purwohardjo FC's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
