Spectators: 7524 (Terracing: 5644, Seating: 1730, VIP seats: 150) Black★Rock Shooter's Nadjib Antono started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nadjib Antono in the 4th minute of play forced Free York's goalkeeper Ruben Cahyadi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 5 minutes into the game, Didik Sujarwadi was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Free York's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Black★Rock Shooter the free kick. Ruben Cahyadi made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gatot Budikusuma in the 9th minute. Aliyuddin Arwana charged in rather forcefully in the 9th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Aliyuddin Arwana the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 12th minute, Gatot Budikusuma got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The crowd rose to their feet as Black★Rock Shooter's Nadjib Antono slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Ruben Cahyadi. That made the score 1-0 after 16 minutes of play. After some careless play in the Black★Rock Shooter defense, Bertha Bangun kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ari Rahwana. The Black★Rock Shooter fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ari Rahwana should have stopped the shot. Ari Rahwana took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bertha Bangun, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Bertha Bangun came up free with the goalie in the 34th minute, the Free York fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Bertha Bangun couldn't finish the play. Gatot Budikusuma received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Ruben Cahyadi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Amien Cundaya kicked well hit freekick during the 42nd minute of the match. Ari Rahwana showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bertha Bangun, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute. When Bertha Bangun got free in front of the goal in the 46th minute he wasn't very focused and chipped the ball just over the goal. Ari Rahwana was delighted since he was out of position and the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

After 58 minutes, Kahlil Hutapea mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Black★Rock Shooter and the Free York players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Black★Rock Shooter's Kahlil Hutapea got a free kick in the 59th minute. After 63 played minutes Black★Rock Shooter got a freekick which was hit by Evan Hadiningrat. Adnan Santoso missed a clear chance of a goal when in the 65 minute of the game fired away a shot, but unfortunally the ball went out to the Ari Rahwana right hand side. In the 67th minute, Ardian Darmuis hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Adnan Santoso was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 68th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. With a little luck, Black★Rock Shooter's Ari Rahwana got control of the ball when Fitrah Hudaya tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 76th minute Nadjib Antono shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ruben Cahyadi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 87th minute, Nadjib Antono left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Black★Rock Shooter fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. The home crowd let out a huge roar when the referee blew for the end of the game. Black★Rock Shooter were victorious despite being under pressure from Free York for much of the match.
