Praitoru FC's Arbud Tumbuan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Yanyan Sukmara in the 20th minute of play. In the 23rd minute, Jossi Widura got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Yanyan Sukmara fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arbud Tumbuan having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Yanyan Sukmara in the 27th minute of play forced Praitoru FC's goalkeeper Arbud Tumbuan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Praitoru FC's Arbud Tumbuan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Yanyan Sukmara in the 29th minute of play. A collision led to Praitoru FC getting a freekick after 30 minutes play. Uci Suwondo hit a great ball. Agam Wiranatakusumah recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 34th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Adrianus Husodo in the 36th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Arbud Tumbuan saved Praitoru FC from getting behind. After a rather tough play, PSPS RIAU's Cucu Sudaryono got a free kick in the 37th minute. If Agam Wiranatakusumah had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ceppy Sulaiman made an important save on a dangerous shot by Agam Wiranatakusumah in the 44th minute. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Jossi Widura to strike the kick off in the second half. The audience was convinced that Jossi Widura's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ceppy Sulaiman was relentless in the 51st minute of the game. In the 59th minute, Cucu Sudaryono hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The crowd rose to their feet as PSPS RIAU's Adrianus Husodo slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Arbud Tumbuan. That made the score 0-1 after 63 minutes of play. Ceppy Sulaiman didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Agam Wiranatakusumah went, in the 66th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. Agam Wiranatakusumah sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Ceppy Sulaiman showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jossi Widura, who was totally free with the ball in the 78th minute. Toyo Lopa made a great header on Praitoru FC's corner, it was just that PSPS RIAU's Ceppy Sulaiman managed to reach the ball for a save. The audience cheered when Toyo Lopa's long shot passed Ceppy Sulaiman's right side. It was 4-1, 81 minutes into the match. 86 minutes into the match, Jossi Widura had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ceppy Sulaiman. PSPS RIAU's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Jossi Widura was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 5-1. 94 minutes into the game, Praitoru FC's Agam Wiranatakusumah nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ceppy Sulaiman made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 6-1.
