Spectators: 8455 (Terracing: 6342, Seating: 1944, VIP seats: 169) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. But to his dismay, Ichwan Dinanto quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Joni Rangkuti stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Acep Handoko's shot from short distance in the 16th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Putra Ponrang's zone, Awa Tendean stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Joni Rangkuti came out of the goal and Awa Tendean tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Sakti Mulia's late challenge caught a LIMO FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Sakti Mulia helped the player get up and apologised. After 19 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Putra Ponrang! The referee gave LIMO FC a penalty, 20 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Awa Tendean, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Putra Ponrang's Joni Rangkuti. 0-3. Joni Rangkuti didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Acep Handoko went, in the 23rd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-4 was the resulting score. 29 minutes into the game, one of Putra Ponrang:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. 33 minutes into the game, LIMO FC's Acep Handoko nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Joni Rangkuti made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-6. 35 minutes into the match, Putra Ponrang's goal looked a bit too open when Awa Tendean came free, but Joni Rangkuti reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience was convinced that Farhat Sutanto's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Joni Rangkuti was relentless in the 37th minute of the game. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Prabu Hasudungan was the one to do the kick off. Acep Handoko fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 51st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Joni Rangkuti having to interfere. Thanks to some nice moves Awa Tendean could shoot a difficult shot in the 53rd minute, which Joni Rangkuti however easily saved by the left post. After 59 minutes, Ichwan Dinanto made it 0-9 with a short kick to the right side. Putra Ponrang's Joni Rangkuti tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. The audience was convinced that Acep Handoko's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Joni Rangkuti was relentless in the 64th minute of the game. With his leg Joni Rangkuti managed to avoid a goal in the 66thth minute, when LIMO FC's Awa Tendean fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 88th minute Acep Handoko shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Joni Rangkuti saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some careless play in the Putra Ponrang defense, Farhat Sutanto kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Joni Rangkuti. The Putra Ponrang fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Joni Rangkuti should have stopped the shot. After a rather tough play, Putra Ponrang's Kunto Birowo got a free kick in the 95th minute. Weldy Lantang took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 97th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Joni Rangkuti. Putra Ponrang's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. The Putra Ponrang fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. LIMO FC were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
