The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 4 minutes into the match, Affan Auri had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Chandra Rupawan. Laskar Rebahan United's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Affan Auri was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. Adam Pamungkas could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 7th minute of the match, but Chandra Rupawan made a huge save. The supporters of Pare-Kediri FC booed when Laskar Rebahan United was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 13 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nuralim Ekayana didn't get a good kick on the ball. Chandra Rupawan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lelo Tanjung, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. Chandra Rupawan made a fantastic save in the 16th minute, when Adam Pamungkas sent off a good shot on target. In the 16th match minute, Laskar Rebahan United was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by I Nyoman Fachrezi to maneuver through the defense. Thanks to some nice moves Adam Pamungkas could shoot a difficult shot in the 17th minute, which Chandra Rupawan however easily saved by the left post. Rusli Supardi received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Chandra Rupawan came out and tried to block the shot, but Rusli Supardi slotted it home off the left post making it 2-0 in the 20th minute. Chandra Rupawan made a fantastic save in the 23rd minute, when Adam Pamungkas sent off a good shot on target. 23 minutes into the match, Laskar Rebahan United's goalkeeper Chandra Rupawan had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Adam Pamungkas. 26 minutes into the match, Laskar Rebahan United's goal looked a bit too open when Rusli Supardi came free, but Chandra Rupawan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 27 minutes, Cepot Jayakesuma mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Laskar Rebahan United and the Pare-Kediri FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 27 played minutes Laskar Rebahan United got a freekick which was hit by Cepot Jayakesuma. Adam Pamungkas came free with the goalkeeper in the 28th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Chandra Rupawan could save by the left post. In the 31st minute, Yudho Fatary hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 33rd minute, Pare-Kediri FC's Rusli Supardi ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Chandra Rupawan. Chandra Rupawan yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 3-0. Cepot Jayakesuma kicked well hit freekick during the 35th minute of the match. Laskar Rebahan United's Chandra Rupawan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rusli Supardi in the 38th minute of play. Wempy Jatnika kicked well hit freekick during the 39th minute of the match. Laskar Rebahan United's Chandra Rupawan proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 42nd minute of the match, managed to save Laskar Rebahan United from getting a goal against them. Pare-Kediri FC's Rusli Supardi managed to work through Laskar Rebahan United's defense and was going for an easy goal, but he hit the shot with his toe and the ball flew outside the goal. Rusli Supardi dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in. Chandra Rupawan made an important save on a dangerous shot by Affan Auri in the 47th minute. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Affan Auri to strike the kick off in the second half. After 52 minutes, Wempy Jatnika mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Laskar Rebahan United and the Pare-Kediri FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Adam Pamungkas scored 5-0 in the 60th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Chandra Rupawan, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 64th minute, Affan Auri made a precise shot to the right of Chandra Rupawan. Laskar Rebahan United's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 6-0. After a rather tough play, Laskar Rebahan United's Rudi Musadeq got a free kick in the 67th minute. Chandra Rupawan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Adam Pamungkas in the 70th minute of the match. 71 minutes had been played when some careless play by Laskar Rebahan United's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Yasraf Hamid was slow to take the kick. During this time Pare-Kediri FC's players had a chance to rest. The corner ended in Yasraf Hamid almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Laskar Rebahan United's Chandra Rupawan did a great save. After 73 minutes of play, Pare-Kediri FC's Rusli Supardi made it 7-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Chandra Rupawan was left in no man's land by his defense there! Lelo Tanjung fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Chandra Rupawan having to interfere. 78 minutes into the game, Pare-Kediri FC's Rusli Supardi nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Chandra Rupawan made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 8-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Adam Pamungkas in the 82nd minute of play forced Laskar Rebahan United's goalkeeper Chandra Rupawan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some careless play in the Laskar Rebahan United defense, Affan Auri kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Chandra Rupawan. The Laskar Rebahan United fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Chandra Rupawan should have stopped the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Adam Pamungkas in the 88th minute of play forced Laskar Rebahan United's goalkeeper Chandra Rupawan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 92nd minute Rusli Supardi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Chandra Rupawan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 93rd match minute, Laskar Rebahan United was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Yudho Fatary to maneuver through the defense. Chandra Rupawan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lelo Tanjung, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the referee ended the match the Pare-Kediri FC players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
