After 41 minutes of play, HGPM FC's Anak Agung Sopacua made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Nerio Diez was left in no man's land by his defense there! When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Yatna Sutimbul to strike the kick off in the second half. A collision led to HGPM FC getting a freekick after 53 minutes play. Icang Nurdjaman hit a great ball. Victor Wisanggeni fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nandang Abidin having to interfere. HGPM FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 68th minute, when Victor Wisanggeni scored to the left of an out of position Nandang Abidin, making the score, 3-1. Victor Wisanggeni received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 76th minute. Nandang Abidin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 79th minute, Yatna Sutimbul made a precise shot to the right of Nerio Diez. Java's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-1. 84 minutes into the match, HGPM FC's goalkeeper Nandang Abidin had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Dudung Kalla. Victor Wisanggeni was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 85th minute. Java's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Java's Victor Wisanggeni got a good chance for a goal in the 87th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Adriano Prosperi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nandang Abidin having to interfere. If Victor Wisanggeni had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the referee blew the final whistle, HGPM FC could leave the field as winners, despite Java having more of the ball for most of the match.
