The crowd rose to their feet as David Sagala kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Igor Solecki. That made the score 3-1 in the 45 minute of play.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. David Sagala was the one to do the kick off. Jayeng Sawali fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Iwan Sutanto having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ansyari Affandy got free with Iwan Sutanto in the 54th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 61 minutes into the match, Putra Riunggunung's Ansyari Affandy sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Iwan Sutanto narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Igor Solecki was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 92 minutes into the game, Abdika Kuswandi was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player.
