PS Bulaktemuu's Harvey Durahman played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ibing Widianto in the 6th minute of play. Utoh Limbong fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Iwan Sutanto having to interfere. Harvey Durahman didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ibing Widianto went, in the 10th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Harvey Durahman took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from David Sagala, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Kelik Wicaksono hit a great freekick 15 minutes into the match. Utoh Limbong received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Iwan Sutanto tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 40th play minutes Utoh Limbong shot 3-1, a short shot which went by Iwan Sutanto and just under the crossbar into goal. Kelik Wicaksono hit a great freekick 44 minutes into the match. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The supporters of Malaka booed when PS Bulaktemuu was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 53 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eza Batola didn't get a good kick on the ball. 55 minutes into the match, PS Bulaktemuu's goal looked a bit too open when Kelik Wicaksono came free, but Harvey Durahman reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ibing Widianto took the ball and in the 57 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Harvey Durahman. Harvey Durahman dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-3. If Duloh Mustamu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 61 played minutes Malaka got a freekick which was hit by Ibing Widianto. 62 minutes into the game, Utoh Limbong cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-3. Iwan Sutanto was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Duloh Mustamu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Utoh Limbong received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 67th minute. Iwan Sutanto showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Duloh Mustamu in the 68th minute of the match. After 71 minutes of play, Malaka's Ibing Widianto made it 4-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Harvey Durahman was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 78th minute, Ibing Widianto reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Harvey Durahman. The goal made the score 4-5. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ibing Widianto got free with Harvey Durahman in the 81st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Harvey Durahman was out of position in the 82 minute of play, and David Sagala capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. David Sagala really showed his touch with that goal: 4-6. With a little luck, PS Bulaktemuu's Harvey Durahman got control of the ball when Yadi Surahman tried to sneak it across the goal line. The Malaka supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Malaka would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
