The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After some fancy dribbling in the 4th minute, Abdika Mantra managed to get in a good position for a shot. Guk Guk Warrior's supporters rose to their feet, but Abdika Mantra was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Dion Sastra breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 7 minutes into the match, Fireblade FC's goal looked a bit too open when John Wenas came free, but Dion Sastra reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Guk Guk Warrior booed when Fireblade FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 10 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ismail Hutagaol didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 12th minute the ball was on its way in behind Fireblade FC's goalkeeper Dion Sastra, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Abdika Mantra sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Kurniawan Sudradjat received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Dion Sastra tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 21st minute Warsidi Sophian shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dion Sastra saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Guk Guk Warrior's Abdika Mantra got a good chance for a goal in the 30th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Warsidi Sophian had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ismail Hutagaol could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 33rd minute of the match, but Yuma Radjasa made a huge save. Tantan Dandy hit a great freekick 38 minutes into the match. Warsidi Sophian sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ismail Hutagaol got free with Yuma Radjasa in the 43rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Abdika Mantra recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 48th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ismail Hutagaol was the one to do the kick off. Kurniawan Sudradjat sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 54 minutes into the match, Guk Guk Warrior's goal looked a bit too open when Ismail Hutagaol came free, but Yuma Radjasa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 55 minutes in the game Tantan Dandy did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Ida Bagus Suprianto. Dion Sastra made a fantastic save in the 56th minute, when Warsidi Sophian sent off a good shot on target. Guk Guk Warrior's Abdika Mantra got a good chance for a goal in the 73rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Warsidi Sophian blasted a shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Dion Sastra having to make a save. Kurniawan Sudradjat sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Fireblade FC's zone, Abdika Mantra stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Dion Sastra came out of the goal and Abdika Mantra tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 85th minute, Chris Piliang hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Warsidi Sophian received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. Dion Sastra tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 91 minutes, Abdika Mantra managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Guk Guk Warrior's supporters crossed their fingers, but Abdika Mantra was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal.
