With a little luck, Eternal Curse's Kelik Pelani got control of the ball when Omo Sumadipraja tried to sneak it across the goal line. When Omo Sumadipraja came up free with the goalie in the 15th minute, the FONGIE fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Omo Sumadipraja couldn't finish the play. Omo Sumadipraja received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Kelik Pelani tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Eternal Curse's Kelik Pelani proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 23rd minute of the match, managed to save Eternal Curse from getting a goal against them. Leysus Himawan recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 89th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The supporters of FONGIE booed when Eternal Curse was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 90 match minutes in a wonderful position. Warsidi Tendean didn't get a good kick on the ball.
