Firman Zumarnis could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 24th minute of the match, but Tarsan Waringin made a huge save. Misbach Puang might have been able to make a better finish in the 25th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Tarsan Waringin. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Misbach Puang ran back to his position shaking his head. After some careless play in the PSB Semplak defense, Firman Zumarnis kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Tarsan Waringin. The PSB Semplak fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Tarsan Waringin should have stopped the shot. With a little luck, PSB Semplak's Tarsan Waringin got control of the ball when Firman Zumarnis tried to sneak it across the goal line. After having played for 31 minutes, Misbach Puang managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Untung FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Misbach Puang was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Firman Zumarnis who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 33rdth minute tested the skills of Tarsan Waringin when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Firman Zumarnis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Tarsan Waringin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Hanung Siahaan could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 38th minute of the match, but Tarsan Waringin made a huge save. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 40th minute of the game. One of PSB Semplak:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Untung FC:s goal. When the match had been going on for 42 minutes, Untung FC's Ismail Sudradjat got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Tarsan Waringin. Kholil Samiaji fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sebastian Mantra having to interfere. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.

After a rather tough play, PSB Semplak's Irfan Rumangkit got a free kick in the 53rd minute. Tarsan Waringin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Misbach Puang, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. In the 60th minute, Misbach Puang got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The audience was convinced that Firman Zumarnis's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Tarsan Waringin was relentless in the 62nd minute of the game. After some fancy dribbling in the 63rd minute, Misbach Puang managed to get in a good position for a shot. Untung FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Misbach Puang was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Tarsan Waringin breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Tarsan Waringin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Firman Zumarnis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 68 minutes into the match, Firman Zumarnis notched a goal, 5-0, to the right of PSB Semplak's Tarsan Waringin. Tarsan Waringin was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 80 minutes into the match, Misbach Puang had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Tarsan Waringin. PSB Semplak's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Misbach Puang was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 7-0. Komar Sugianto struck a weak shot in the 89th minute. Sebastian Mantra didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for PSB Semplak. Firman Zumarnis's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Tarsan Waringin read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 93rd minute of play. In the 96th match minute, PSB Semplak was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Irfan Rumangkit to maneuver through the defense. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Untung FC had won after a very even match.
