The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Toke Todbøl showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sebastião Gavilanes, who was totally free with the ball in the 4th minute. In the 13th minute, Sebastião Gavilanes got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After having played for 15 minutes, Sebastião Gavilanes managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Mantjeuri's supporters crossed their fingers, but Sebastião Gavilanes was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Toke Todbøl made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sebastião Gavilanes in the 18th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sebastião Gavilanes in the 19th minute of play forced ACDC Indonesia's goalkeeper Toke Todbøl to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Toke Todbøl showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sebastião Gavilanes, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Mantjeuri's zone, Yaya Antoni stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Marcel Paulică came out of the goal and Yaya Antoni tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Toke Todbøl showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sebastião Gavilanes, who was totally free with the ball in the 46th minute. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

A collision led to ACDC Indonesia getting a freekick after 55 minutes play. Byrne Hughes hit a great ball. In the 56th minute, Samuel Sudaryono hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Reza Misrun fell near the penalty area in the 60th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored ACDC Indonesia's protests and gave Reza Misrun a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Mantjeuri booed when ACDC Indonesia was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 61 match minutes in a wonderful position. Reza Misrun didn't get a good kick on the ball. Samuel Sudaryono took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 62nd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Toke Todbøl. ACDC Indonesia's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Icut Al-Haddad kicked well hit freekick during the 62nd minute of the match. ACDC Indonesia's Prabu Karo-karo was substituted for Henrique Batista. In the 65th minute, Bustanil Panjaitan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Tanji Anggadiredja recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 66th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Toke Todbøl stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Luiz Fernando Romero's shot from short distance in the 71st minute. Toke Todbøl showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gofar Jayadiningrat in the 73rd minute of the match. When Yaya Antoni came up free with the goalie in the 77th minute, the ACDC Indonesia fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Yaya Antoni couldn't finish the play. In the 79th minute Yaya Antoni shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcel Paulică saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Marcel Paulică showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Yaya Antoni in the 82nd minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Sebastião Gavilanes got free with Toke Todbøl in the 89th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 97th minute, Yaya Antoni ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Marcel Paulică was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The ACDC Indonesia fans cheered their team off the field, for while Mantjeuri had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
