Alfredo Llorenc took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kakhi Maut, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 4th minute, Kakhi Maut ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Alfredo Llorenc was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Dindin Irianto's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Alfredo Llorenc read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 7th minute of play. Blas Eufrasio made in the 9th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Giant's Zaki Supardi. After 11 played minutes Palestine Free Land got a freekick which was hit by Blas Eufrasio. Arvin Julianto made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gerard Paine in the 16th minute. Nana Sahuleka hit a great freekick 17 minutes into the match. In the 19th minute Kakhi Maut shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alfredo Llorenc saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Palestine Free Land booed when Giant was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Zaki Supardi didn't get a good kick on the ball. Justino Tadzio recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 21st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After some careless play in the Palestine Free Land defense, Kakhi Maut kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Alfredo Llorenc. The Palestine Free Land fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Alfredo Llorenc should have stopped the shot. Gerard Paine's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Arvin Julianto firmly grabbed it by the left post. In the 30th minute Lexi Fachrudin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arvin Julianto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Alfredo Llorenc showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kakhi Maut in the 33rd minute of the match. Makbul Sahetappy hit a great freekick 35 minutes into the match. Nana Sahuleka took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 36th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Arvin Julianto. Giant's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Kakhi Maut's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Alfredo Llorenc read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 37th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Giant's Makbul Sahetappy got a free kick in the 44th minute. After the first half Giant were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Alfredo Llorenc showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kakhi Maut in the 56th minute of the match. In the 58th minute Giant were awarded a corner. Makbul Sahetappy went to the cornerflag to take it. It was a well-played corner which Kulisaya Bang managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. Giant's Kakhi Maut managed to work through Palestine Free Land's defense and was going for an easy goal, but he hit the shot with his toe and the ball flew outside the goal. Kakhi Maut dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in. In the 63rd minute Dindin Irianto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alfredo Llorenc saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Dindin Irianto's late challenge caught a Palestine Free Land's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Dindin Irianto helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Palestine Free Land booed when Giant was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 65 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dindin Irianto didn't get a good kick on the ball. Giant made a substitution. Anakoz Keren replaced Kulisaya Bang. In the 66th match minute, Giant was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dindin Irianto to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Thomas Wirahadikusumah in the 67th minute of play forced Giant's goalkeeper Arvin Julianto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 68th minute, Kakhi Maut managed to get in a good position for a shot. Giant's supporters rose to their feet, but Kakhi Maut was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Alfredo Llorenc breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Palestine Free Land's Alfredo Llorenc proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 70th minute of the match, managed to save Palestine Free Land from getting a goal against them. With a little luck, Palestine Free Land's Alfredo Llorenc got control of the ball when Kakhi Maut tried to sneak it across the goal line. Giant's Arvin Julianto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Thomas Wirahadikusumah in the 73rd minute of play. In the 75th minute, Gerard Paine ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Arvin Julianto was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-3. Palestine Free Land made a substitution. Idrus Tabusala replaced Gerard Paine. Thomas Wirahadikusumah kicked well hit freekick during the 82nd minute of the match. The supporters of Giant booed when Palestine Free Land was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 83 match minutes in a wonderful position. Idrus Tabusala didn't get a good kick on the ball. A hard shot 85 in the game by Kakhi Maut from a close distance when the talented Alfredo Llorenc managed to make a qualified save. Palestine Free Land's players were relieved. In the 85th minute, Nandang Tuheteru hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 88 minutes into the match, Palestine Free Land's goal looked a bit too open when Kakhi Maut came free, but Alfredo Llorenc reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Arvin Julianto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Idrus Tabusala in the 92nd minute of play. In the 93rd minute, Idrus Tabusala made a precise shot to the right of Arvin Julianto. Giant's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-3. The Giant players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
