Forever Young's Gia Buffon proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 14th minute of the match, managed to save Forever Young from getting a goal against them. Péter Gulácsi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ferdinand Cenușă, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. Péter Gulácsi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Elfonda Astrajingga, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The corner ended in Thom Moxon almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Sleman Old Boys's Péter Gulácsi did a great save. The supporters of Forever Young booed when Sleman Old Boys was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 38 match minutes in a wonderful position. Massimo Margiotta didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 39th minute of the match Thom Moxon shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Péter Gulácsi showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Seyfullah Ağırtaş in the 41st minute of play forced Forever Young's goalkeeper Gia Buffon to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Forever Young's Zheng Rong got a free kick in the 45th minute.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ahmet Korkut Savaş was the one to do the kick off. Ferdinand Cenușă had several of the Sleman Old Boys's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 57 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 0-2 score and a disappointed Péter Gulácsi as he didn't even see the shot coming. Sleman Old Boys's Péter Gulácsi proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 67th minute of the match, managed to save Sleman Old Boys from getting a goal against them. Péter Gulácsi was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Ferdinand Cenușă showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-3 in the 68 minute of play. After 71 played minutes Sleman Old Boys got a freekick which was hit by Anfilogino Quattrocchi. 72 minutes into the match, Ferdinand Cenușă notched a goal, 0-4, to the right of Sleman Old Boys's Péter Gulácsi. Sleman Old Boys's supporters rose to their feet, but Agil Tuheteru was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gia Buffon breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 90 minutes, Husni Silaban mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Forever Young and the Sleman Old Boys players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Forever Young getting a freekick after 90 minutes play. Husni Silaban hit a great ball. When Zheng Rong fell near the penalty area in the 92nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Forever Young's protests and gave Zheng Rong a yellow card for diving instead. Massimo Margiotta might have been able to make a better finish in the 94th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Gia Buffon. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Massimo Margiotta ran back to his position shaking his head. The Sleman Old Boys supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Forever Young's performance. The match ended with a win for Forever Young.
