A collision led to Giant getting a freekick after 13 minutes play. Dindin Irianto hit a great ball. 孙寒岚 could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 15th minute of the match, but Arvin Julianto made a huge save. Giant's Zaki Supardi quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Malam Sore, made in the 17th minute of the game. In the 21st minute, Zaki Supardi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience thought a goal was coming when 孙寒岚 got free with Arvin Julianto in the 22nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Arvin Julianto stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Seno Prabaya's shot from short distance in the 25th minute. In the 28th minute Vicky Suryana shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arvin Julianto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Ucok Saiman fell near the penalty area in the 29th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Giant's protests and gave Ucok Saiman a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Dragos booed when Giant was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 29 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ucok Saiman didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 43rd minute, Kakhi Maut ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Conor Barrett was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. In the 46th minute, Eros Sujarwadi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Arvin Julianto was a little too slow when Setyo Nasution got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 47th minute. The score was now 3-1.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Kakhi Maut to strike the kick off in the second half. Arvin Julianto stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Vicky Suryana's shot from short distance in the 59th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dindin Irianto in the 71st minute of play forced Dragos's goalkeeper Conor Barrett to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Giant's Hardy Karaeng got a good chance for a goal in the 75th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 77 minutes into the match, Giant's goal looked a bit too open when Vicky Suryana came free, but Arvin Julianto reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Giant booed when Dragos was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 79 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aleandro Nesta didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 84 minutes, Hardy Karaeng managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Giant's supporters crossed their fingers, but Hardy Karaeng was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When the referee ended the match the Dragos players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
