PS Banyuwangi's Elano Salgado played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Loreto Turienzo in the 5th minute of play. Gala's Loreto Turienzo managed to work through PS Banyuwangi's defense and was going for an easy goal, but he hit the shot with his toe and the ball flew outside the goal. Loreto Turienzo dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in. If Ucok Baba had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After 9 minutes of play, Gala's Loreto Turienzo made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Elano Salgado was left in no man's land by his defense there! Suryo Zaelani took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Albert Petruescu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some careless play in the PS Banyuwangi defense, Loreto Turienzo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Elano Salgado. The PS Banyuwangi fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Elano Salgado should have stopped the shot. 20 minutes into the match, PS Banyuwangi's goalkeeper Elano Salgado had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Loreto Turienzo. Gala were awarded a corner in the 86th minute after PS Banyuwangi's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Fitrah Bagjanata took the corner. A well-hit corner resulted in Alberto Di Blasio heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. In the 89th minute, Ren Ang Ying left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The PS Banyuwangi fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-3.
