Gala's Katon Sahilatua managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Radja Yarangga in the 11 minute of the game. 15 minutes into the match, Gala's Alberto Di Blasio sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Iie Tutuarima narrowly saved just below the crossbar. A collision led to Polosiri getting a freekick after 15 minutes play. Agus Adriansyah hit a great ball. Iie Tutuarima showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alberto Di Blasio in the 17th minute of the match. After 19 minutes Polosiri's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Joe Quintero who took care of the corner kick. In the 21st minute, Pinilih Afiff hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Polosiri's Iie Tutuarima played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alberto Di Blasio in the 23rd minute of play. Alberto Di Blasio kicked well hit freekick during the 24th minute of the match. 28 minutes into the match, Gala's Alberto Di Blasio sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Iie Tutuarima narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Gala's Lv Zhen Xuan was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Iie Tutuarima in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. 30 minutes into the match, Lv Zhen Xuan had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Iie Tutuarima. Iie Tutuarima made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alberto Di Blasio in the 33rd minute of play. After 39 minutes Polosiri's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Joe Quintero who took care of the corner kick. After taking down the ball on Gala's corner Pinilih Afiff fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Iie Tutuarima quite easily take care of the ball. After the first half Gala were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The crowd rose to their feet as Alberto Di Blasio kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Iie Tutuarima. That made the score 0-3 in the 54 minute of play. In the 59th minute the ball was on its way in behind Polosiri's goalkeeper Iie Tutuarima, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 59 played minutes Polosiri got a freekick which was hit by Noce Jeliteng. In the 64th minute Alberto Di Blasio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Iie Tutuarima saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Alberto Di Blasio's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Iie Tutuarima read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 65th minute of play. Suryo Zaelani took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eri Sungkono, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 70th minute, Alberto Di Blasio got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 72nd match minute, Polosiri was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Agus Adriansyah to maneuver through the defense. 74 minutes into the match, Polosiri's goal looked a bit too open when Alberto Di Blasio came free, but Iie Tutuarima reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alif Sudarman in the 77th minute of play forced Gala's goalkeeper Suryo Zaelani to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 82nd minute Gala were awarded a corner. Eza Leimena went to the cornerflag to take it. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Katon Sahilatua during the 83rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 91st minute, Alberto Di Blasio left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Gala fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-4. Iie Tutuarima was a little too slow when Alberto Di Blasio got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 94th minute. The score was now 0-5. The Gala supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Gala would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
